Emiko Nishizawa deals with matters concerning patent applications and the granting of patent rights for Japanese and overseas university and corporate clients, especially in the field of life sciences, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and molecular biology based on experience gained from working as a pharmaceutical researcher in the private sector as well as working in basic science in a national laboratory.
