Practice Areas
Wataru Takagishi provides a wide range of legal advice and dispute resolution services, both domestically and internationally. His expertise spans intellectual property law, corporate law, bankruptcy and rehabilitation of business.
In the area of intellectual property law, he adeptly handles various dispute resolution matters and provides strategic advice on licensing and joint research etc., based on his experience seconded to the intellectual property department of a Japanese conglomerate. In the area of corporate law, he makes use of his experience seconded to the legal department to provide practical advice based on his understanding of business, and he also handles projects such as M&As. In the area of bankruptcy and business rehabilitation, he has experience in bankruptcy cases, civil rehabilitation cases, and private liquidations.
His commitment lies in understanding each client’s unique position and diligently working on cases with integrity and timeliness.
