Main Areas of Practice

Nozomi Uesaka focuses on both domestic and international corporate legal affairs, mainly in the field of intellectual property, restructuring and insolvency and litigation.

 

In particular, in the field of intellectual property, she represents clients in litigation and advice on patent rights, copyrights, trademark rights and unfair competition. In the field of restructuring and insolvency, she assists companies and trustees in bankruptcy and corporate reorganization proceedings. She is also involved in litigation between companies of various industry sectors and sizes.

 

Also, in the domestic law field, she is involved in corporate law matters such as M&A, shareholders’ meetings, etc. and labor law issues such as negotiations between labor and management, and labor tribunals. In addition, in the field of international affairs, she has experience in finance and establishment of compliance systems.

 

Furthermore, she constantly handles a broad range of daily consultations concerning contracts, negotiations, etc. from various companies and clients.
