Main Areas of Practice
Corporate general matters: Negotiation for and drafting agreements of commercial transactions and business sales, Incorporation of companies, Corporate administrative matters and Corporate insolvency.

When worked for companies, Chizuko Nakandakari handled sales of life insurance, construction, management and sales of real estate property, and management of a company.  Based on those experiences, she has strong interest in commercial transactions such as selling & buying products, selling & buying businesses and M&A.

Also, during the time at Maruko Inc., she experienced the corporate reorganization on the front line as the President/Managing Director of Maruko Australia Pty Ltd in Australia, in which Maruko group's structure of group and business was restructured and the business was turned around to stable and prosperous.  Maruko's case was a bankruptcy of a company who operated real estate businesses in multi countries and who had the largest debt in Japanese business history in 1990's.  Also, the case was handled by Shogo Abe of Abe, Ikubo & Katayama as the reorganization trustee for the group, who proceeded, for the first time in Japanese legal history, with the parallel bankruptcy operation in Japan, USA, Canada, Australia and countries in Europe.

With that business background, Ms. Nakandakari believes that corporate general matters, business management and M&A are the areas she can be of some assistance to clients.
