Gaku Iida deals with corporate general matters including the areas of the Companies Act, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, insolvency laws, property law and general civil laws. He has been engaged with a number of matters especially of corporate winding-up and business turning-around as the petitioner, administrator or deputy administrator of the courts’ supervised insolvency matters, or as the counsel to the creditors or debtors in corporate insolvency dealt by the parties.
In providing legal advices and drafting agreements, Iida offers not only the interpretation of laws and pointing out of risks but also specific, constructive and timely suggestions based on the understanding of the client’s business nature. He also cares about providing papers in plain writing not to mention the content itself.
In dealing with legal disputes including litigation, Iida insists upon giving a thorough thought on possible scenarios, runs simulations and prepares elaborate complaints and pleadings.
