Hirokazu Honda deals with matters for corporations by providing legal advices, drafting contracts and conducting negotiations on intellectual property licenses, joint research and development, business alliance, leasing, confidentiality and electronic transactions. He acts as an outside auditor for several companies and provides advices in matters on corporate law and matters extending from specific ones to creating and operating devices for corporate compliance and internal control. With respect to banking and securities business, he deals with consulting on, as well as civil lawsuits with regard to, Bank Law, Financial Instruments and Exchange Law and any other laws and regulations relevant to them, and also has many works and lectures on compliance in finance field and Financial Instruments and Exchange Law. In the field of IP law, he handles matters on contracts such as license agreements, patent infringement cases in such fields as pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and also has experiences in many patent lawsuits brought by overseas clients. Utilizing the above experience, he further has given many lectures and presentations on the practice for license agreements and the cases on the US patent lawsuits. He has furthermore been involved in many insolvency cases including the Sogo civil rehabilitation petition.
He intends to provide appropriate advice by precisely understanding the needs of his clients, based on understanding of business activities in wide range of areas as lawyer, and his two year experience of studying and training in Europe and America. He solves complicated cases by through tenacious and detailed investigations. His motto is "Being calm" and "Logical arguments". |
